He also talks with Daily Journal religion reporter Riley Manning about growing up together in Amory.
Also on today’s show, Capitol Bureau Chief Bobby Harrison (13:42) discusses the fallout of Gov. Phil Bryant signing controversial House Bill 1523, which allows religious groups and some private businesses to refuse service to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people based on religious beliefs. Meanwhile, food editor Ginna Parsons (26:30) breaks down this week’s food section — banana pudding, sour cream pound cake and wedge salads — and this weekend’s Masters golf tournament.
