On today’s episode, food editor Ginna Parsons (3:22) joins Emma Kent and Lauren Wood to talk about this week’s food section.
That includes a recipe for bacon-wrapped pork loin. Ginna said it came out a gorgeous caramel color, and every slice of pork had a little bacon wrapped abound it. She also talks about a brussel sprouts recipe that complements it well.
Meanwhile, the Cook of the Week is Tupelo nephrologist Louis Britton, who is a man of many talents. The former college football player is an ace in the kitchen. His specialities include gumbo and red beans and rice, as well as Italian, Hispanic and Thai dishes, among many others. He learned to cook by watching television when he was a child. He also makes his own vinaigrette dressing.
Also on today’s show, Scott Morris (14:06) reviews “Thor: Ragnarok.” The superhero thriller gives its characters a lot of flexibility. Scott said that makes it great.
Meanwhile, Emma and Lauren talk about this weekend’s entertainment scene (21:45), including Santa Claus at the Mall and a bluegrass performance at the Link Centre.
